King Crimson - Discipline (1981) - kto wie czy nie jest to ostatnie wybitne osiągnięcie grupy- Fripp po raz kolejny przewartościował tutaj swoją muzykę: dostajemy więc album nowofalowy chwilami kojarzący się z osiągnięciami The Talking Heads- brzmienie jest tutaj o wiele bardziej zimne i syntetyczne niż na poprzednich wydawnictwach zespołu-najlepsze momenty: hipnotyczne nagranie tytułowe, rozimprowizowany Indiscipline i klimatyczne The Sheltering Sky

Toyah - The Changeling (1982) - rzeczywiście niewiele tu rocka gotyckiego; zamiast niego mamy tutaj dziwna mieszankę stylistyczną w klimacie Kate Bush i wczesnej Patti Smith- przyjemnie się tego słucha choć jak dla mnie bez rewelacji- oj, przydałoby się trochę Roberta Frippa na tej płycie- mogłoby być znacznie ciekawiej
