"Yes" (pominąwszy fałsze w chórkach "Harold Land") to bardzo dobry album. Gdyby Yes nie nagrało już nic więcej, debiut znalazłby się wśród wielu bardzo solidnych i ciekawych płyt wydanych w 1969 roku. Nie arcydzieło, z dyskretnymi wpływami innych (przede wszystkim Vanilla Fudge), ale pełna polotu i inwencji płyta z intrygującym wokalistą i znakomitym basistą, gitarzystą i perkusistą.
"Niestety" z każdą kolejną podnosili poprzeczkę.
