Peter Hammill "Live In Jouy En Josas, 25.05.1974" - świetny koncert; jakość tak może 7/10; ale za ten zestaw utworów granych mona dać się pokroić.

Z robię to w ciągu weekendu - uwag sporo. Teraz na komputerze odsłuchuję pliki DVD; Routes to Islands. Nie mam odtwarzacza DVD więc musze jakoś sobie radzić na tych głosniczkach.
"Pictures Of A City" w wersji z prób składu Islands - ciekawostka dla fanów
"Sailor's Tale" (Islands Line Up rehearsal) - wolniejsze tempo, metrum 8/4 9nie 6/4, Collins gra solo na flecie

mam też nowego "Poseidona" ale jeszcze nie słuchałem. Dostałem je dziś wieczorem.

Co do brzmienia - to nie jest aż tak złe jak na trzech plytach z ubiegłego roku. Dalej jest ciemniejsze, ale jednak nie aż tak skompresowane. Zmian w stosunku do pierwowzoru można znaleźć wiele ale dotyczą one raczej detali. Najważniejsza to inne pierwsze solo kornetu w "Islands". Ale są tez drobiazgi, które mnie zirytowały. W 27 sekundzie "Formentera Lady" w poprzednim miksie jest taki skrzypnięcie przy lewym kanale, nad partia kontrabasu. Teraz go nie ma.
Wersja "Ladies Of The Road" przygotowana na boks "Frame By Frame" przez Singletona i Frippa to przyklad jak twórczo można zremiksować utwór z taśm matek. Zrobili to lepiej niż Steven Wilson.
