“Consequences” is Peter’s thirtieth solo studio album of original songs.
Ten jittery new pieces which stretch the boundaries of the form.
Some are wordy, or about words - and miscommunication, mishearing, misapprehension.
Around another corner, lives and actions are overheard, overseen, characters stalked and surprised.
Sometimes these pieces stray into the territory of the short story or screenplay - something is happening just outside the frame, just beyond the range of vision.
Distanced from the norms of songs though they are, a strong narrative thread runs through the heart of each recording.
The instrumentation centres on electric guitars and a variety of pianos. Percussion is sparse. The occasional interjection of other instrumental colours enhances rather than expands the sonic picture.
Central to the realisation of all the songs are authoritative vocal performances in lead, backing and choral roles.
Once again the whole thing is written, performed, sung and recorded entirely solo.

Wg opisu (prawie) nic nowego  (hehe). Słowa, komunikacja międzyludzka - wciąż widać Petera te zagadnienia interesują. Cieszy, że centralnym punktem płyty jest wokal.

nic nowego a i tak cieszy

Dziesięć utworów, to zapewne długie jakieś nie będą, właściwie nie wiem czego się spodziewać, ale jeśli Peter przebije "Thin Air", to będę w ciężkim szoku. Nie sądzę, jednak ten facet udowadniać nic nie musi, no ale byłoby super. Tytuł łatwy do zapamiętania, nazwy utworów mi się podobają, okładka zupełnie nijaka. Ogromny szacunek, że nadal mu się chce i tempo ma całkiem niezłe w ostatnich latach.

Premiera już niedługo, nie mogę się doczekać.

Chyba pierwsza recenzja. Niestety po japońsku. A właściwie opis promocyjnego CD-Ru. Ale gdy google przetłumaczy jest jakiś sens.
