Riverside — Shrine Of New Generation Slaves (2013) - dominują na tym albumie brzmienia stricte hard-rockowe jakby panowie przenieśli się w czasie do połowy lat 70-tych- choć znalazło się też tutaj i miejsce na nawiązania do Tangerine Dream (Deprived), Pink Floyd (Escalator Shrine) i Wishbone Ash (The Depth of Self-Delusion)

Peter Hammill -What, Now? (2001) - wielka szkoda że po reaktywacji VDGG muzycy nie włączyli do swojego repertuaru dwóch znakomitych nagrań z tej płyty: Here come the talkies i Lunatic in knots- pasowałyby do klimatu pozostałych kompozycji zespołu, a jeśli chodzi o utwory Van Der Graafa z lat 2005-2016 nawet by się dość mocno wyróżniały

bardzo fajny album- pochodzące z niego nagranie The Last Film swojego czasu dość często pojawiało się w audycjach Tomka Beksińskiego

u mnie Tubeway Army - Replicas (1979)- klasyka jeśli chodzi o nieco post-punkowy synthpop - z pewnością jest to jedna z najważniejszych płyt tego gatunku muzyki
