Queen-"The Works" Wiem że nie zbyt wybitna to płyta ale sentyment do niej mam niesamowity :)
I cieszę się że jestem sam. Samotnie łatwiej myśleć i łatwiej tańczyć kiedy już poumierają wszyscy"

To najlepszy okres Herbiego. Poza "Head Hunters" najbardziej "odjechane" i progresywne płyty Hancocka. Niestety klapy finansowe, więc w połowie lat 70-tych, po sukcesie "Head Hunters" pianista powrócił do lżejszego grania.

Gorąco polecam - także ze względu na skład w jakim go nagrano:
Wayne Shorter — tenor saxophone
Freddie Hubbard — trumpet
Herbie Hancock — piano
Ron Carter — double bass
Elvin Jones — drums.

Jedna z najlepszych płyt "mainstreamowego" jazzu. W ogóle płyty Shotrera z lat 60-tych są godne uwagi. "Juju", "The All Seeing Eye", "The Soothsayer" (wydana w latch 70-tych, ale nagrana w poprzedniej dekadzie).

To najlepszy okres Herbiego. Poza "Head Hunters" najbardziej "odjechane" i progresywne płyty Hancocka. Niestety klapy finansowe, więc w połowie lat 70-tych, po sukcesie "Head Hunters" pianista powrócił do lżejszego grania.


Mnie się nawet te płyty z lat 80., gdzie są elementy hip-hopu i disco bardzo podobają (np. "Future Shock", "Magic Windows" czy też "Lite Me Up").

moja ulubiona płyta Hancocka- absolutne arcydzielo jazz fusion z niesamowicie odrealnionym klimatem tej muzyki
