Charles Mingus - Pithecanthropus Erectus - znakomity album - szczególnie nagranie tytułowe robi duże wrażenie- ponad 10 minutowa jazzowa opowieść o upadku człowieka. Poza tym choć płyta wydana została w 1956 roku, w kilku miejscach słychać elementy całkiem freejazzowe co mnie nieco zdziwiło bom zawsze myślał iż ten gatunek ukonstytuował się znacznie później
