Mam wrażenie, że ktoś nagrał 'echo' koncertu ;-)
Jak się zna wszystkie utwory i wie czego się spodziewać to to 'echo' porusza te wewnętrzne doznania nabyte ze słuchania wcześniejszych płyt w dobrej jakości.
Niezła zabawa.

Ja obydwóch :-)


Dla mnie Coltrane jest ciekawszy. Ale zawsze można posłuchać ich razem - grali dużo wspólnych koncertów.

Coltrane jest głębszy.
Trane był muzykiem kwintetu Davisa w latach 1955-1960 (z krótką przerwą). Nagrali wiele płyt (Cookin', Steamin', Relaxin', Round About Midnight, Milestones, Kind Of Blue...)

Poza tym wolę Coltrane'a z jeszcze jednego powodu - wolę dźwięk saksofonu od trąbki.

ja natomiast wolę trąbke od saksofonu- Coltrane'a oczywiście lubię i szanuję jednak to w muzyce Milesa znalazłem idealne odzwierciedlenie mojego ideału jazzu- takie płyty jak Kind of blue, Sketches of Spain czy też Bitches Brew to dla mnie sama esencja tej muzyki

Ja byłem generalnie fanem Coltrane'a bo jest bardziej zadziorny, nieokrzesany band. Potem jak posłuchałem In a Silient Way i Bitches Brew to uznałem też bardziej Davisa.
Dlatego teraz mówię, że na równi.
