Powrót z pracy uprzyjemniał mi dziś hipnotyczny maxisingiel "Darshan (The Road To Graceland)" R. Frippa/D. Sylviana; mamy tu tytułową kompozycję oraz 2 remixy; całość to 44 minuty...

A teraz jakoś wpadłem w nastrój i całość mnie zachwyca. No prawie całość - bo te krótkie przerywniki trochę mi rozbijają całość. A "Hello Spaceboy" - rewelacja, szczególnie remix Pet Shop Boys.

Robert Fripp/David Sylvian "The First Day" - niesamowita płyta, niby to rock (alternatywny?), a jest tu i niby-techno, niby-funk; nie wspomnę o motywach ambientowych; są nieziemskie solówki Frippa; a kończący całość "Bringing Down the Light" to najczystszej postaci "frippertronics". Mimo, że dużo tych "niby" to dlatego oryginalna to płyta.

David Sylvian and Robert Fripp "Live In Tokyo 1993.10.26" - rewelacyjna jakość i wykonanie; śmiem twierdzić, że podczas tej trasy narodził się kolejny etap King Crimson - wszak mamy tu połowę KC A.D. 1994 (Fripp, Gunn, Mastelotto); gdyby nie szeptanki Sylviana byłby to czysty KC albo ProjeKct 3.

i jak wrażenia? :) Ja z przyjemnością sięgam po inne ich płyty


ja Echolyn lubiłem kiedyś bardzo i znam większość ich płyt, później jakoś zapomniałem o tym zespole a gdy po latach go sobie teraz odświeżam już mnie tak nie kręci jak w dawnych czasach. Polecam ci przede wszystkim  Suffocating the Bloom z 1992 roku i As the World z 95 - to są chyba najlepsze ich albumy ( ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem tego drugiego)
